Kx Pilates Prahran Pilates Studio is a fantastic place to get a great workout. Customers love the dynamic style of reformer pilates that the studio offers, as it has helped improve their posture and core strength. The instructors are highly experienced and knowledgeable, and they are always willing to help and give advice. The team at Kx Pilates is also incredibly friendly and helpful, and they provide water and towels for customers. Customers also appreciate the fact that the classes are different every day, and that Rachel is always available to answer any questions or help with booking issues. Finally, customers have praised Zoe S. for her challenging classes. All in all, Kx Pilates Prahran Pilates Studio is a great place to get a great workout and receive excellent customer service.
This is my first reformer pilates and the dynamic style KX provides has truly changed my life. It has helped my posture as I do not seem to sit or walk hunching my shoulders forward as much and my core is stronger than ever before. The instructors are excellent as all of them will keep an eye out on your posture and give a hand when you need to during the exercise (change springs or change the weights etc). I feel comfortable with Syd, Hannah and Bekki but anyone is great and they seem to be very well equipped even though the sessions are different every day, like a real talent. Rachel has also been immaculate in answering my questions, helping with the booking issues etc either via phone, email or text.
Bad experience with prepaid credits post cover lockdowns. In one of the fleeting windows we were open in Melbourne I brought a prepaid 8 pack of classes that were valid for 30 days from the date of the first of the first class in the pack. - with a longer general expiry date, Given the frequency and duration of lockdowns in which gyms were not open for..I didn't use any of these these, and when we were finally open in Nov, I did intend to use them, but didn't check when the expiry date was... (and was also taking some time to get back in to routine). It wasn't until I got a email from them 3 weeks after the lockdown was lifted saying 7 days left to use my (8) classes ($178 price). - None were used. I contacted Prahan KX and asked if they could extend the date for a month or two given the lockdowns, and instead of a customer service focused response - even suggesting that if I brought some additional ones they would extended the date (which I would have happily done), I was told they have already been open 3 weeks, and were also open a couple of weeks a few months ago which was in their view more than enough time for me to use them. I was pretty disappointed with this service having had such a great experience at KX Mona Vale (before moving to melb just before lockdowns). I decided not to attend any more classes there / or use the classes I had paid for.. won’t be going back! I wasn't going to post this, but was with some girlfriends tonight and pilates classes came up.. when I shared this story they also agreed super bad service from KX Prahan - so wanted to share. (The trainers here are a bit hit and miss too.. there are a couple who were really good and some so so average ones. Very disappointing. Don't recommend this specific studio and won't be going back.
