I have been member of this gym from the very beginning, the two Female Cleaners “Mel” and i don’t know the other ones name, the have given New Life to this gym, they are very Honest with their Work, Good On them. Manager should be proud of this 2, the cleaners before them were very good in chatting and keeping some of the members entertained…
Great people at the coalface! Holly is a gem! In fact every time I walk in the door I am welcomed by a smiling face eager to listen and help. The cleaning team are first class and give you real peace of mind as you work out knowing every part of the gym is cleaned meticulously.
When I first signed up a few years ago at derrimuts gepps cross, the environment was great, the staff and members were friendly, the gym was busy but not overcrowded and overall it was a good experience. Nowadays, it just looks like a rundown mess. The place needs a deep clean asap, the machines are always breaking down, like what on earth are the members doing to the place, the free weights are never put back and the heavy plates machines never unracked. The members and general crowd that attend this location are heavily contributing to the gyms overall vibe. It’s always smelly in this gym, and to top it off, you can’t hear your own music/podcasts because they’re always blasting the same EDM genre music so loud. Gepps cross is the most run down location in Adelaide, it’s basically like derrimuts unwanted child.
Great gym, awesome equipment. However. I can’t help but notice it stinks really bad. It’s obvious that it isn’t deep cleaned regularly. The other day I went and it wasn’t even full of people and it still smelt like dirty underwear and sweaty socks. Maybe put some fans on and air out the place. Do something !!
I have never had issues in the past with changing gym memberships over i’ll be moving and won’t have access to any derrimut gym so I spoke to someone to change my member ship and my partners to my brother and his partners names and details so the $1200 I just spent is not on two gym memberships wasted when they’ve only been used for a month. May I add that I’ve done this with anytime fitness when i changed to derrimut, anytime had no issues amazing customer service kind staff. I’ve seen many people selling their memberships for derrimut renewed for a year on market place so i’m not seeing the issue here as it’s getting the moneys worth. Genuinely disappointed with the customer service of the company will not be telling or recommending anyone to this company with the appalling customer care.
