It has a huge array of equipment, including cardio and strength machines, a ring, and Olympic barbells and plates. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is motivating. The prices are also very affordable, with a casual rate of just $15 per entry and great deals on memberships. Customer service experience was shocking. Place was absolutely filthy. Staff were very rude and impolite I will NOT be returning to this gym. Stay clear !
Todd one of the staff was rude and obnoxious towards myself and my son . I’ve been a member at derrimuts for years and for the best part rhe staff are amazing. Today I came in to view one of my clients in the group fitness room.I was told I couldn’t have Kye in the gym because he was under 14 despite not being in the gym And only the group fitness room.My sons, accompanied me into the gym a dozen other times with no issues and further to this has had no issues going into other gyms whilst accompanied by myself .I have my own gym and my son has been surrounded in the gym environment his whole life. Deeply disappointed at the way this was handle today and how I was rudely spoken too.As my membership is paid in full and was on sale when I bought it I can’t cancel it now suspend it or even transfer it .Moving forward, as long as Todd is a manager at Newcomb I’ll never step foot into that gym again and will be in contact with Nic the owner to forward a customer complaint .
The best gym I've ever been to. More Cardio and strength machines than you can poke a stick at. Only thing it could possibly improve on is providing some chalk in the Olympic barbell/plate area but maybe I just couldn't find it.
Great facilities but the casual rate has been jacked up to $15 per entry. Don't go often enough to justify a membership but did like to option to go when I wanted. Probably won't bother anymore.
