Customer Reviews
Goodlife Health Clubs Edward St is a great gym located in the heart of the city's financial district. Customers love the convenient location, friendly staff, and wide range of classes and personal training options. The gym is well-ventilated and clean, with quality equipment and hairdryers and straighteners in the locker rooms. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the club manager, Stephen, is always ready to greet customers with a big hello.
The gym is open 24/7 and has sufficient equipment and machines, although some of the machines are a bit old and could use an upgrade. The gym also offers boxing sessions which have helped many customers with their confidence and mental health. Customers have also praised the personal trainers, such as Phillip Grouls, for their wide-ranging knowledge of exercise routines and their ability to help customers reach their fitness goals.
Overall, customers have had a positive experience at Goodlife Health Clubs Edward St. The gym is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the personal trainers are knowledgeable and experienced. The gym also offers a wide range of classes and personal training options, making it a great choice for anyone looking to get fit and stay healthy.
A good amount of the treadmills don't work which is disappointing. The weights room equipment is old but does the job. This area feels very cramped. The ladies lockers don't always work and the toilet always seems to be waiting on plumbing. Great location for those who want a convenient gym after work.

The gym is all good, I like the functional area, but the toilets are so gross. They have had a sign up about the smell and a plumber for like 2 months. Soup dispenser doesn't work so no soap to wash your hands and they are so dirty. These dirty paper towels on the floor were there Tuesday and still there Friday when I came back. I don't know if they clean the place. I do t even use the toilets, public toilets are cleaner .

Its old and tired, but functional. Generally machines are looked after and not really any out of order issues. Their classes seem popular and well attended. My main gripe is with the PT's - I am super happy they have clients coming through but sometimes they pull the piss - really for a small gym where there is next to no duplication of equipment, the trainers should stick to one station per section. Supersetting 2 or 3 stations by leaving a towel here, water bottle there, notepad elsewhere is a joke. Its frustrating when they do this on a 15 minute cycle... Further, if you're a trainer make sure your person brings a towel and uses it for more than "holding" a machine.

I really enjoy this gym as the staff and trainers are a great bunch of people, always ready for a chat & a laugh, and then always ready to get attentive to your own particular fitness goals. In addition, the location is so convenient with 24 hour access, super clean changing facilities and good A/C If I could offer an improvement suggestion it would be to upgrade some of the equipment, finances permitting, and then the gym would be first class. Thanks again to the Edward Street Team, you guys rock!!
