I had done quite a bit of looking online at joining a gym being new to the area. We went yesterday to have a quick look at the facilities. We were made to scan in with QR code that then wanted email, full name, phone number, full date of birth, reason for attending, etc etc and more. I got half way through entering all the details and said to the staff member that all we really wanted was a quick look. Were told, “this is just what we do.” Sick of having to give over all our personal details and put up with the hard sell marketing emails, texts and phone calls that follow, just to get basic information on what’s offered. No thanks.Emilie Deacon
Goodlife west end has the most modern equipment compared to the other goodlife I’ve been to. The staffs are always friendly too. My PT is George who strengthened me very much in a short period. Some people forget to wipe the equipment after their use or not put towels, but the wet tissue is always full and it is not the management’s fault people are not doing so. The best thing I did this year was to join this gymNare Lee
Just left this gym feeling feeling ripped off. I paid $50 dollars for a week pass. I brought my 8yr old son there today. He would have sat at the table and played his switch while I trained. They said they I could not come in with him. I pleaded and asked the manager. I said that he is very well behaved and I have taken him to other gyms many times before. They said no too bad. I then asked for a 10 dollar refund as they charged me 50 for 2 sessions. This is higher than the casual rate. They once again said no. I understand local gym rules but they should have told me before taking my money and to not at least give me a 10 dollar refund is terrible customer service. On a side note they have holes in their deadlift platforms that are very dangerous. All they did was put silver tape over it. Yet they deem it unsafe for my son to be there. You should have refunded my 10 dollars at the very least guys. You also should have notified me of your rules and you should not pick and choose your safety standards. Be fair and consistent. 1 star from me. Would have been zero if I could.Daniel Walker
The business only focuses on promotion but severely lacks and neglects providing quality for those who have joined already. It’s always crowded. Classes don’t have enough mats because of their weekend promotion. All of the wipes are gone and bathrooms are neglected on a regular basis. Told staff about missing wipes and he told me to wait while he was trying to sell a membership rather than just quickly grabbing them. Staff is friendly which I like but the company pushes them to sell rather than maintaining equipment or cleanliness. Membership isn’t cheap. Company needs to stop looking at the $$$$ and focus on proving quality and the money will come. Otherwise we won’t stayBria P
