KX Richmond studio has been my go-to for a couple of years and no single workout has ever been the same! The instructors keep you on your toes and design workouts with clever and creative moves — especially in the Advanced classes. Try swinging by Chris, Christina, Maggie or Mitch’s classes, everyone is lovely. I started as a beginner and worked my way up, it’s a very accessible way to build up your strength, definition and flexibility! I have been attending KX Pilates in Richmond for many years and I find the health benefits amazing! There is a mix of strength and cardio in the class but I love that it is all low impact on the body. The workout is challenging but the trainers give different options to allow you to modify the workout depending on how you feel that day. I started back at beginner level after covid and then worked my way back to intermediate. I love that the trainers mix things up and make the class fun and interesting so the 50 minutes is over before you know it. I have had to work through some injuries in my time and I have never had to skip a class as the trainers ask for any injuries to work around at the start of the class and then give you alternatives or modifications to work around what doesn't feel good at the time. I’ve been doing KX for a few years now (and reformer Pilates for more than 10 years) and I have been loving going to KX Richmond for the last 9 months! The classes are fantastic, and the trainers are super friendly, going out of their way to get to know everyone’s names.
