Plus Fitness Alkimos is a great gym that offers a wide range of facilities and features to its members. Customers love the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with staff that are always willing to help and treat customers like family. The creche is a great bonus for parents, and the sauna is a great way to relax after a workout. Plus Fitness Alkimos also offers a variety of classes, personal training options, and exercise and training protocols.
The gym is well-equipped with modern and quality equipment, and the layout is well-spread out. Customers also appreciate the fact that the gym is always clean and well-presented. Plus Fitness Alkimos also offers a no-contract membership, which is very affordable.
Overall, customers are very satisfied with Plus Fitness Alkimos and the services they provide. They love the friendly staff, the great atmosphere, the quality equipment, and the variety of classes and personal training options. Plus Fitness Alkimos is definitely the best gym in the area and is highly recommended by its members.
Such a lovely bunch of people staff and patrons, everyone treats you like family and always willing to help and up for a chat! Such a great environment and the kids absolutely adore the creche and it’s staff.
Plenty of equipment, but unfortunately most of it is out-of-order, especially in the cardio section. My cross trainer was wobbly and making loud clicking sounds - all others in use, or out-of-order. No biggie, let's do the bike then. The only free/operable bike - screen is black. Can't adjust levels. Okay no biggie. Let's go on the treadmill. The only free/operable treadmill - screen flickers and can't adjust incline. Okay, no biggie. Let's try out one of those two cardio machines I've never tried - nevermind. Both are out-of-order ...is this a joke?
Solid 4 stars. Nice staff, decent facilities. Friendly demographic. Would have been a 5 if they hadn't started locking the Sauna, nothing like a good sauna after a sesh.
I'm not giving a 1 star review because they have a good assortment of equipment, however I experienced absolutely apalling service. I'm new to the gym so naturally i don't know how to use much of the equipment so I asked some of the staff how i would go about organizing demonstrations of the equipment. To which one staff member said you will have to use a PT session, which i was fine with as I had a free PT session with my new membership, however the staff member said there was "a delay of a few weeks for a PT session." To which I replied "I have to wait 2-3 weeks for someone to show me how to use equiment?! What do in this time where i can't learn?" The staff member then said "I can sign up (for extra money) for some of the classes and they should show how to use the equipment." One other staff member said "if one of the PTs was around i could offer to pay them to demonstrate some of the equipment. Now i'm resorting to learning how to use the equipment via youtube videos. Ridiculous service to a brand new customer.
I've been around the block when it comes to gym's, been to many different gyms. Plus in alkimos has friendly staff, good equipment, friendly members. At peak hour, you may have to wait for maybe one equipment out of your whole workout, but that's to be expected at a good gym. Although I haven't used a PT, the PT's here all seem to be good quality unlike other gyms I have gone to where I have cringed at their exercise selections and technique correction for clients.Sauna here, few cool equipments not seen everywhere such us glute bridge thing which doesn't kill your hips to bridge a bunch of weight, plenty of plates to go around, group class room... Whenever something has been out of order it is VERY quickly sorted out (within a day or two). No complaints from me.
