Customers appreciate the comprehensive range of equipment, friendly staff, and convenient location in the shopping centre. The gym is well maintained and sanitised, with sanitisers and wiping tissues available. The staff are helpful and polite, and the gym manager is quick to take action on customer feedback. Customers also appreciate the value for money, with no lock-in contracts and no hidden fees. The gym is also well-lit, with natural light, and the music is not too loud. The only downside is that the gym is a bit small, with limited equipment, and the toilets and showers are not always clean. However, overall customers are satisfied with their experience at Zap Fitness Burnside.
Small gym but has everything a casual gym goer like me needs. Friendly staff and music isn't too obnoxious or loud.
Edited to 1 star: Toilets are disgusting, never clean. I am so frustrated about this. Otherwise, I enjoy exercising there.
Zap Fitness Burnside used to be my go to gym as it was 5 minutes from home.Lately the gym has been filthy all the time with weight, sanitiser wipes and dirt everywhere.Won't be going back.
The place was well maintained with sanitisers, wiping tissues. Gym was planned as per Covid 19 regulations.
Less than two hours from submitting below review, I visited the location and saw Chad (facilities manager) already taking action and looking into my comments. That was quite impressive and I appreciate it. We had a good chat. Only thing missing now is signing up the new cleaning company :) ----------- Current guy managing place is good and polite. Better value for money than others in the area, BUT... Poor hygiene! Dirty place. I don't think they use detergents and proper chemicals to clean any equipment, floor or bathrooms - because ofcourse cleaning is costly! So let the customers die of cancer or nasty viruses. It's a fair trade. Tiny sinks not enough to wash your hands. Showers are dirty with filthy floors with no place to put your clothes while you shower. Machines are not as good as the CBD Currie St. branch. Water fountain not working properly.
